Q: Are pets allowed to stay in the bungalow?
A: Dogs may be acceptable by prior agreement when booking.
Q: What are the booking periods?
A: Generally, to arrive on Saturday from 3pm to 4pm (unless otherwise agreed), and to leave on Saturday morning by 10am. In low season we are happy to accept bookings for either Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights or the nights of Monday to Thursday.
Q: Can we stay for more than one week?
A: Bookings are generally for one week or two. We can accept a limited number of longer period reservations - please ask. When guests stay for a fortnight or longer, we undertake weekly a brief clean plus a linen change.
Q: Is public transport available?
A: Lymington Town and New Milton stations are approximately 7 and 10 km from the bungalow respectively. Buses are available to Lymington and New Milton, both stop in Milford. There is also a daily National Express coach service to Milford (without intermediate changes) from London (Victoria) via Gatwick and Southampton.
Q: Car I recharge my electric car?
A: A electric vehicle charging point is situated outside of the bungalow. The kit is a Pod Point fast charge 7kW, tethered model with a type 2 cable.
Q: What about car parking?
A: There is a single parking space adjacent to Milford Croft and an additional vehicle may be parked on our shared driveway. There is a Council "Amenity Car Park" across Hurst Road (20-hour limit) and we supply a pass to the New Forest Council's town centre car parks in Milford on Sea and other local towns/villages.
Q: Is there a Booking Charge?
A: We do not impose any booking fee but intermediaries’ sites on which our bungalow is listed may do so.
Q: May I cancel after booking?
A: Once due, neither the deposit nor balance of our charge is refundable if you have to cancel. We recommend that you insure that risk. If you have to cancel and we can rebook the period, we will make refunds of either charge less an administration fee and any reduction in price we decide to offer in making a ‘special offer’ in an attempt to fill the vacancy.
Q: How do I pay the deposit etc?
A: Our preferred method is directly by ‘bill payment’ or BACS – details are on our booking form. Having only a single property we are unable to accept card transactions. Payments may also be made by cheque – please see the booking form. Unless you ask otherwise, we will acknowledge receipt by email.
